Windows

1. Choose the desktop installer above and download it.
2. Double-click it and follow the setup wizard.
3. Launch AutoC from the Start menu or the desktop shortcut.

The desktop app checks for updates on its own. The first launch shows the welcome screen: open a project, knowledge library, and global settings. See Welcome.

TIP

The desktop installer is Windows-only today.

After install

1. Sign in and paste your WhyEngineer API key under Settings → Account.
2. Open a project — pick the folder that contains your configurator project.
3. Type a simple instruction in the chat box to confirm the workspace responds.
